Privacy Policy
Effective 10 July 2026 · Last updated 10 July 2026
The short version. Cupidon Cam collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no tracking. Your photos and videos are written straight to your iPhone's photo library and never leave your device.
Who we are
Cupidon Cam is an iPhone camera app published by Sullivan (Sullifeu), Switzerland. Questions about this policy: hello@cupidon.cam.
Data we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and makes no network requests to any server we control. This is reflected in the app's privacy manifest and in the "Data Not Collected" declaration on its App Store page.
Your photos and videos
Everything you capture is processed entirely on your iPhone and saved directly to your photo library. Your images are never uploaded, never copied off the device, and are never visible to us or to anyone else.
When a capture cannot be saved immediately, for example because the app was interrupted, it is kept temporarily in the app's private storage on your device and saved to your library the next time you open Cupidon Cam.
Permissions the app asks for
- Camera. Required to show the viewfinder and take photos and videos.
- Microphone. Used only to record sound with your videos. Denying it means silent clips; nothing else changes.
- Add to photo library. Used only to save the captures you take. The app cannot read or browse your existing photos.
- Notifications (optional). Only if you turn on the free-trial reminder before subscribing. Used for that single reminder and nothing else.
You can change any of these at any time in iOS Settings.
Settings stored on your device
A few preferences, such as the grid overlay, front-camera mirroring and your capture format, are stored locally on your iPhone (in the app's standard preferences store). The number of free captures used today is stored locally in the device keychain so the daily allowance survives a reinstall. None of this data is transmitted anywhere.
Purchases
Memberships and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, e-mail, payment details or billing address. The app only asks Apple's on-device receipt whether a valid purchase exists, which is what unlocks unlimited captures. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
This website
cupidon.cam is a static website. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party fonts, scripts or trackers, and does not profile visitors. Our hosting provider (Infomaniak, Switzerland) keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, as any web host does.
Launch notification list
If you choose to leave your e-mail address to be told when the app launches, that address is used for exactly one message, the launch announcement, and is then deleted. It is never sold, shared or used for anything else. Write to us at any time to be removed sooner.
Children
Cupidon Cam is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA).
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase. If you left your e-mail for the launch list, you can ask us to delete it immediately by writing to hello@cupidon.cam. Deleting the app removes every setting and capture the app stored on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes affecting how the app behaves will also be mentioned in the App Store release notes.
